All consultants, service providers, vendors and contractors responsible for projects at Duke must adhere to all applicable building codes and the Duke University Construction Standards.

Designed to ensure underground utilities are not damaged during ANY kind of excavation (digging) being performed on Duke University property.

Exterior Sign Guidelines

Developed for the Duke University Landscape Architect, the Exterior Sign Guidelines provide drawings, elevations and layouts required for Duke University exterior signs.

High Performance Building Framework

Developed by Duke Facilities Management in collaboration with Atlier Ten as a rigorous sustainable design standard and a tracking system to review performance for all of Duke’s new buildings and major renovations, a beyond-LEED-certified-framework that outlines our improved process for the planning and design of campus buildings.

Landscape Guidelines

Developed by the Duke University Landscape Architect, Duke's Landscape Guidelines are intended to be a resource for creating and maintaining a campus landscape with a certain level of consistency that exists across various precincts with specific contextual requirements.
